Some kinda solution?

So about a month back i went to see Dr Christina Chea in Taipan, USJ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKsSuJABWKE) and i told her my problem. She offered me a range of solutions: from creams, to laser treatments etc. Obviously my mother (and myself) were a little skeptical of the idea of laser treatment (though i must admit it now sounds tempting). Anyways, i chose the cream solutions and together with consultation and products, the total cost came upto RM 430!! SO EXPENSIVE!!! but lemme tell u...out of all the products ive tried in the past. whatever she prescribed worked the best. in the first week itself a layer of my skin peeled off. Though it my armpits are still dark, it has become a little lighter. (will post pics soon!)

I'm still thinking about skin peeling, in heavier dosages. the products in using now are really minor and i doubt ill see any drastic changes...anyway, my mother did warn me about many doctors not having their PhD in dermatology etc. and just so you know i think dr christina chea has a diploma/certificate in dermatology. i think that's wat made my mother skeptical. they may provide with quick fixes...but are they really safe??? i also dunno what is right or wrong :/

Update: dark armpits

i know its been awhile...but a lot has been going on in the real world.

as for my progress on getting my underarms lighter...well...lets say things arent going so well. after much, scrubbing, rubbing with alcohol, waxing etc. i'll be seeing a professional soon...cos i think in order to make a difference, i need to know whats causing this "darkness". and i need someone to tell me whats going on cos i cant take it anymore.

will update u guys soon!

cover up

i can count the times in my entire life where ive worn a strapless/tube dress. Twice. im usually seen with sleeves or half sleeves, as long as my underarms are covered and away from the sun. at home i can walk about freely cos my family members know my problem and they love me for who i am (i think) :}

anyways, on New Year's Eve i really wanted to wear this very nice tube dress i bought for a very good price. i had to buy it! so in order to dance the night away with hands held high, i used MAKE UP to cover up the darkness! and guess what? IT WORKED!

previously i did try using make up and it didnt work out. but i found out that if u conceal first, then apply foundation (non oil based) and then loose/compact powder it, u will see that the make up will stay on ur underarms for a long time! which is good. i tried it the day before just to see how long it will last. it lasted one whole day, even with a little bit of sweat.

but just because i found out this trick works, doesnt not mean im going to be wearing sleeveless clothes every single day. putting make up on my underarms takes a lot of time and hassle. im only going to do this whenever i have a "big" or "special" occasion.

im still gonna work on me armpits till i find a way to change it to its natural colour.

let the new year bring more hope!
