finding another way...

so..i've been using Wakilala wash and bright up essence for a while now. to tell u the truth it isnt "brightening" anything. my armpits still look the same. but i can tell u that it does help the "chicken skin" and makes the pores smaller. i can tell the difference. other than that, my armpit is still dark. i was unable to wear a strapless dress this Christmas after all :'(

Anyways, im gonna stop using the wakilala products and start using "Dermadoctor's KP Duty Body Scrub" which acts as a chemical peel and microdermabrasion session in one, delivering serious medi-exfoliation. It is used for preparing skin for self tanning, skin bleaching and post-bathing treatments used to treat body acne, keratosis pilaris, dry skin concerns, shaving bumps, ingrown hairs and skin discoloration.

I bought mine in the U.S., not sure if u can order it online and ship it internationally. that u have to find out. but it costed me almost $50 when i bought mine from Sephora. (Singapore has Sephora, right? maybe that could be another option?)

I really want to get my hands on Dermadoctor's "Alpha Body Daily Body Peel" though...i really want to try chemical peeling..i feel that's the fastest and easiest way out of this mess. i really want to be like a normal person who can wear anything without feeling embarassed :/

anyways, so from now onwards im going to start using the Dermadoctor's "Scrub" and Nivea's "Extra whitening deodorant"...we shall see if it works...will give u an update in 2 weeks. wish me luck!!

p.s: if there's anything i learnt throughout this "whitening my armpit" journey..is that if u suffer from underarm discoloration, u must NEVER SHAVE. wax instead! Waxing is good and it does help a little. It removes hair from the roots along with dead skin cells. so WAX & DONT SHAVE!

dark shadows follow

so its been more than 2 weeks and i dont see any difference in my armpits. it is still dark. and im so frustrated. i feel like the only solution is 'armpit peeling'. but where? how? and how much? ive spent so much money on different products and nothing helped.

im really tired of this. and i have so many other problems that r not helping this situation like my hair is falling so much and my zits and scars r constantly appearing! i need help :(

case of the pits!

As my very first entry, id like to share my biggest and ongoing problem in my 23 years. Ever since i was 13, ive been suffering from dark underarms. its been really frustrating knowing that i cannot wear any sleeveless clothes. i envy those with clear white underarms. i truly do.

I've tried almost everything to get clear underarms. Here's a list of things ive tried:

- rubbing lemon on my armpits every night
- rubbing lemon, turmeric & cucumber every night
- using whitening/brightening deodorants from Nivea, dermadoctor, garnier
- using other anti-perspirant deodorants to stop the sweating that might cause dark underarms: seba med, le tanja, amway, & maxim (meant for excessive sweating - which works)
- consulted "one of the best" dermatologist in town who told me that the only way to get rid of the darkness was to stop sweating and get rid of ingrown hair via laser which would also help the process of lightening the pits.

anyways, im currently using Wakilala Armpit Clear Essence which is said to brighten armpits, tighten pore and prevent hair to grow faster. I also bought Wakilala Armpit Wash which also aids in brightening the armpit dull. today's my first day so i hope in 2 weeks i can see the difference because i so want to wear a nice strapless dress for Christmas :(

Here are some pics of my dark underarms for those who suffer the same. I must admit though over the years it has become lighter. i guess experimenting with all kinds of products did work a little.
